It's been a while but not forgotten... Michael wasn't so much a foundation of the complexly interwoven markup community I remember with much affection, but a structurally strong, subtle, ubiquitous and sparky thread, holding different perspectives together, weaving in new insights and connections from many sources, a true 'listener'.
