Reflections

The markup community in general, and the community of Balisage speakers in particular, is rich with articulate people with strong opinions and unique points of view. While we recognize that all papers and talks are expressions of the authors’ point of view, some talks are particularly focused on the opinions or personal experiences of the speakers. At Balisage 2026, the last Balisage conference, several speakers are looking back at the history of markup and toward the future of uses of markup. We call these talks "Reflections".
